Founded in 2023, sTrack Energy is an energy and sustainability consultancy helping commercial real estate owners, developers and operators improve building performance and asset value, from early design and approvals through operations, retrofits and capital planning.

Our company history

Our team brings more than 20 years of combined experience in energy and sustainability for real estate.

2019sTrack starts as a division of Edgecom Energy, serving the commercial real estate sector.
2023sTrack starts operating as an independent spin-off, providing energy, sustainability and decarbonization solutions for new and existing buildings.
2026 TodayTwo offices, Toronto and Calgary, and a team serving owners, developers and operators across Ontario and Alberta.

More than a decade of experience and 500+ energy efficiency projects across North America, Europe and the Middle East, from energy modelling and approvals to commissioning and decarbonization. Ph.D. candidate at Concordia’s Centre for Zero Energy Building Studies.

10+ years in development and construction, and an engineering graduate of McGill. As operator of an OEB-licensed sub-metering company, Ali bridges the owner’s side and technical consulting.

A McMaster engineering graduate, Behdad has conducted over 50 detailed engineering and energy studies and guides sTrack’s technical direction.

Sustainable Building Engineering graduate of Humber Polytechnic. Gabriel has delivered Enbridge Savings by Design and SB-10 work, including a mass timber rental targeting CaGBC Zero Carbon.

Mechanical Engineering graduate of the University of Ottawa, completing an M.Eng in Sustainability in Engineering and Design at McGill. Sadan delivers SPA, CMHC and SB-10 submissions.
