On the panel at the Missing Middle Conference 2026
David Pour joined the panel “Making Missing Middle Viable: Cost, Construction & Delivery” at the Missing Middle Conference 2026 in Vancouver, a discussion about what it actually takes to get these projects built.

The panel
The panel brought capital, construction, energy and development into one conversation, with a focus on how energy strategy can move missing middle projects from pro forma to permit without breaking the budget.
Panelists were Benjamin Clark, David Pour, Oliver David Krieg, Adam Altobelli and Suraj Jhuty, moderated by Darren Voros. The conference also included a federal keynote from the Honourable Gregor Robertson, Canada’s Minister of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities, as well as the Honourable Christine Boyle and mayors from Vancouver, Victoria and Prince George.
As David put it afterwards, “This is the first conference I’ve been to where every stakeholder has a voice.” Federal government, CMHC, developers and consultants were all part of the discussion.
